Game PReview: Liberty

Game PReview: Liberty

The theme of last week’s PReview was about season two of The Mandalorian and while thinking of a preview or angle to write about this week, a few ideas came to my head. However, one of the things I’ve been thinking about all week is Christmas. I don’t know what it is but there already seems to be a buzz about this holiday and the holiday spirit is slowly inching its way back into our lives.

Something I discovered during my junior year at Tech while doing homework in the Lib or outside ABP in Squires, is the effect Christmas music has on me and my ability to focus and get things done. Tp this day, I don't know why that is, besides the fact that I could listen to Christmas music year-round and it clears my mind of things that are going on.

Today's game against Liberty will be a welcome break for the Hokies before a tough five-game stretch that starts next week. When trying to compare this to Christmas and the holiday season, today's game is like opening up a gift on Christmas Eve that gets you excited to open up presents the next day and you know the big items are coming on Christmas Day.

In the case of the 2020 Virginia Tech football season, “Christmas Day” may be a combination of the next six weeks, but the most important thing is going 1-0 today.

Without further ado, a wise elf once said “the best way to spread ~hokie~ cheer is yelling ‘Let’s Go…’ for all to hear”.

Here is your Gameday PReview.
