Prokies in the NFL: Week 4

Some of our fellow Prokies made some big plays in week four of the NFL season. Let's jump right in to see how they did this week!

Thomas recorded one reception for eight yards this week, but was targeted three other times. He is still second on the team in total targets!

Ford recorded four receptions for 48 yards this week against a fantastic Seahawks team. He was targeted a season-high ten times which leads me to believe Fitzmagic wants to give him the football!

Side note: the Sons recorded a podcast with him last week.

On the flip side of the Dolphins game, veteran Duane Brown is still leading this way for the Seahawks offensive line. Through week four, he is ranked seventh among offensive tackles in the NFL per the PFF grades.

Man, can this guy get ANY better? Actually, he can't because he is ranked first per PFF grades among guards in the NFL. Not just among guards in 2020, but he is the top ranked guard through four weeks since 2006! It's awesome to see him come to form for what looks like a Hall of Fame season.

I want ALL the pancakes.

Clark recorded six tackles in their win against Washington moving the Ravens to 3-1 on the season. Clark is also currently ranked tenth among safeties per PFF grades.

Tremaine made it clear he is back healthy this week, recording 12 total tackles in their win against the Raiders. Between him and Matt Milano, they are a forced to be reckoned with for any team that faces the Bills.

Kyle recorded two tackles and a pass deflection this week in their brutal loss to the Colts.

Kyle had been getting all the praise through three weeks of the NFL, but Kendall showed out against Baltimore this Sunday. He had two interceptions, a couple more pass deflections, and a tackle for Washington in their loss against the Ravens. He was the highest ranked corner per PFF in week four and is now fourth overall among CBs. Gotta love a brotherly rivalry!

Not one, but two!

A newly named starter, Settle recorded two tackles and a sack this week. I think you'll be hearing his name more and more as he gets his feet wet in the number one spot!

Joey was 1/2 from distance this week in the Panthers win against the Cardinals. This was his first miss of the season, but it was from 40+. He was 4/4 in extra points and is still on track for his best season yet.

Terrell Edmunds - The Steelers had to postpone their game this week due to Covid-19 related issues for the Titans. They are expected to play this weekend against Philly.

Dalton Keene - Still out with nagging neck injury, but New England is looking to get him on the field soon.

Tyrod Taylor- Reported out indefinitely with his punctured lung, but could be back sooner than anticipated.
