Hokie Basketball Talk: Coach Giltner joins the Sons! | Mike & Ed's Hoops Preview

It's late November: time to talk basketball!

To kick things off, Billy Ray and Pat are joined by newly named Hokies MBB Assistant Coach Kevin Giltner!

Coach 'KG' was promoted earlier in 2020 from special assistant to the head coach to Assistant Coach on the men's basketball staff. A Wofford 2012 graduate, Giltner has been working with Mike Young for over a decade - first as a player - and then the last 7+ years as a director of basketball operations and assistant coach at Wofford & special assistant to the head coach at VT.

After sitting down with KG, we are FIRED UP for what is to come out of 2020-21. We have brought in some newcomers to address our height, rebounding, and depth issues from last year. KG expects to have a more versatile team in this upcoming campaign! Stay tuned to hear some great Mike Young stories from KG.
