Game PReview: Miami

Game PReview: Miami

Thinking about this game might be as difficult as trying to think about what club to hit on the twelfth tee at Augusta National.

There are so many variables to take into consideration when booking down at that ever-so picturesque hole. I bring this up, partly because I have been watching The Masters all day for the last two days, but also because there are a lot of variables to consider when discussing the Virginia Tech football program. This article is not going to bring up my personal feelings about this but for the last six days, the Sons and Scribes of Saturday, as well as all the voices on #HokieTwitter have shared their feelings about this, and I would highly recommend reading/listening to these opinions.

As it relates to this game today, I have cautious optimism that good things will happen and Tech will pull off a W before a tough stretch of games that will make-or-break this 2020 season and could alter the state of the program moving forward into 2021 and beyond.

This opening has a more somber tone than the previous PReviews because we all want to see this team succeed because of the happiness and satisfaction it brings us in our everyday lives.

A victory today will be like choosing the right club and hitting your shot right into the middle of the green to give yourself a shot at birdie or par on this par-3. A loss...let’s not think about that.

With all of that said, it is a gameday in Blacksburg and it is a beautiful day to #BeatMiami.

Here is your Gameday PReview.
