Gameday Preview - North Carolina

The weather may not be this nice this afternoon during a top-20 clash between the Hokies and Heels at Kenan Memorial Stadium.

Life is good these days. I’m writing this on a beautiful Friday afternoon in Arlington while listening to the Ratatouille score, which is by all accounts, an EXTREMELY underrated movie and soundtrack (shoutout Michael Giacchino) and drinking some water because ya know, hydration is always a ~key play~!! (I do not know if that made sense but it is the thought that counts). Also, something else that makes life feel good is an undefeated, 2-0 Virginia Tech Hokies football team.

Anyways, for the last couple of days, I’ve been thinking about the North Carolina game and how genuinely excited I am for this game. I also feel very good about life right now. The NC State game was exciting because it was the first game after roughly ~250 long days without football. Duke was exciting because of the revenge factor from the 2019 game against the Blue Devils.

Today’s game feels different.

Very few things in life are as exciting as games with major conference implications like what we will have in Kenan Memorial Stadium this afternoon. We have ourselves a top-20 matchup and I think this has the potential to be one of the best games on today’s slate.
