Virginia Tech's softball team has been selected to their sixth consecutive NCAA regional and will travel to Tuscaloosa to represent the two seed in that Regional.

They will play Belmont at 3:30 on Friday on ESPN+.

The four schools in the Tuscaloosa Regional are Alabama, Virginia Tech, Belmont, and Jackson State.

The regional will end on Sunday, May 18th. The winner of that Regional will play the winner of the Norman (Oklahoma) Regional in the super regional round.

The only way that Virginia Tech can host a super regional is if Oklahoma is knocked out of their regional and Virginia Tech wins the Tuscaloosa Regional. In that case, the committee would have to decide between Virginia Tech and the winner of the Norman Regional for who would host the super regional matchup.
