Prokies in the NFL: Week 14

By Brett Smith | December 16
Edmundi NFL

We are in Week 14 of the NFL season and playoff hopes are being created.....or destroyed in some cases. The annual Edmundi Bowl also took place this weekend! Let's make a shirt or something for that.

Offense

Duane Brown

Brown and the Seahawks bounced back this week, defeating the 0-13 Jets 40-3. Brown is still fifth among offensive tackles per PFF grades. He's clearly also top five in spiking the football.

Wyatt Teller

The Browns and Ravens game might go down as the game of the season along with the worst beat of the decade if you took the Browns +3 (unless you're Big Cat). None of that phased Teller as he is still the number one graded guard in the NFL per PFF.

Logan Thomas

Thomas recorded six receptions for 43 yards in the Football Team's win over the 49ers. Washington is on a four game win streak with a huge match-up against Seattle this coming weekend.

Defense

Chuck Clark

Clark recorded nine total tackles this weeks win against the Browns. I wouldn't want to be a a goal post moving forward against him.

The Edmundi Bowl

I decided to put Terrell in Tremaine together as the annual Edmundi bowl took place Sunday night. Terrell recorded eight total tackles and Tremaine recorded six total tackles as the Bills handed the Steelers their second loss in a row. Are the Steelers frauds?

Fraud
Seriously though....let's get a shirt made for the Edmundi Bowl.

Kyle Fuller

Kyle recorded five tackles this week in the Bears win over the Texans

Kendall Fuller

Kendall recorded six tackles and a pass deflection in Washington's win over the 49ers.

Tim Settle

Settle has been key to the Football Team's front seven, but he for sure is looking forward to this weekend's game.

The Joey Slye Section

Joey was 2-2 this weekend in their loss against the Broncos.

Bonus Section: Coaching Special

Bruce Arians and the Buccaneers were able to capture a win over the Vikings this week, helping their playoff hopes as they move to 8-5 on the season.
UNC VT

Welcome to the Terror Dome my fellow Hokies. I am a 2019 graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Agribusiness along with minors in Communication Studies and Entrepreneurship. I come from a Hokie family. My mom, dad, sister, grandfather, uncle, great uncle, two cousins….you get the point, I bleed maroon and orange. I can’t even remember the last time I missed a Virginia Tech football game in person or on TV, laptop, iPhone, or even radio (the 2003 Texas A&M game). I am located in the beautiful small town of Seaford, Virginia working for a coffee company in research and development. In my free time you will see me playing golf, fishing, or playing electric guitar. Yes, I know how to play Enter Sandman. So to my Sons and Daughters of Hokie Nation, START JUMPING!
