For whatever reason the match up with Pittsburgh has me in an alliterative mood this week. As such, get your pop filters ready and please enjoy our Pitt preview plus some pretty positive memories from the past.

Of note, I referred to Adam Schefter as 'the big story of the week' and you may rightfully disagree and say the Jon Gruden emails are bigger. This is true, but who wants to give that old windbag more air time? Better to give the young windbag the spotlight instead.

My Dad graduated from Tech in 1981 and I’ve been attending Virginia Tech sporting events since I first moved to Blacksburg in 1988. I myself graduated in 2008 with a Communication degree. During my time as a student I was the Sports Director for WUVT and helped establish and run Planet Blacksburg, an independent student-run news website.
