A Preseason David Hale Joint | Final 3 Big Things of the off-season!
It's a David Hale joint this week! First off, we want to send another massive thank you to David for joining the Sons for the second time. The last time we jumped on with D. Hale, the world was a much darker place. So dark in fact, that Caleb Farley had actually just opted out of the 2020 season. Although to be fair, it seemed to have worked out well for Caleb, and we couldn't be more proud of him over this way.
Today's episode starts out with our last 3 Big Things discussion before the college football season starts next Saturday. Can y'all believe that we will wake up to the melodious sounds of Big n' Rich next weekend? It's been a long time coming, and we couldn't be more excited. To kick off this week's episode, we chop it up about recruiting, Hokies in the pros, and a quick ACC Road Trip re-cap. Also, speaking of which, ACC Network is now on Comcast, so some of y'all can cancel your Youtube TV memberships. Ain't it great?
In the back hour of the episode, David Hale joins the show to weigh in on UNC hype, the game on September 3, what it means for this staff, what this season means for this staff, what implications week one currently has for Hokie Nation as collective, and what a quintessential visit to Blacksburg should entail. By the way, we were more than happy to help with some of those recommendations. You can read David's write up over on his Twitter feed!
To wrap out, David Hale weighs in on college football as a broad spectrum, conference re-alignment, and how he thinks it all might end up shaking out. So grab your coffee, don't forget your lunch, and press play. Let's make it a great week y'all! We're one day closer to Hokie football!
