Bruce Arians: Super Bowl!

We were extremely excited to have Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach and former Hokie QB, Bruce Arians, join the Sons of Saturday this past week as he preps for the Super Bowl.
As a senior in 1974, Arians was the starting QB and held the Virginia Tech school record for most QB rushing touchdowns in a season with 11, which was broken by Jerod Evans in 2016. He was also the first white player to share a dorm room with a black player in VT history. His roommate was James Barber, father of Ronde and Tiki Barber. Coach Arians is also a New Jersey native, which of course led to some local questions by BRM and Pat.
Best of luck in the Super Bowl, BA!!! Hokie Nation is rooting for you!
Jarrod Hewitt: Hula Bowl!
After BA, former Hokies defensive tackle Jarrod Hewitt joins Billy Ray for a catch-up on his preparation for the NFL. Fun fact: Jarrod is a Venice, FL native and a big time Buccaneers fan. ANOTHER fun fact: Billy Ray hosted Jarrod on his official visit way-back-when!
Jarrod has been spending time in Hawaii at the Hula Bowl. Best of luck to him and the rest of the Hokies preparing to compete at the next level!
