Truthfully, that's a ridiculous statement in the middle of May. But it's true!
Head coach John Szefc and his staff have built one of the most electric offenses in the country and with the help of young arms Griffin Green and Drue Hackenberg, the Hokies have risen to national prominence and are poised to host an NCAA Regional.
On the softball diamond, head coach Pete D'Amour has lived up to the lofty expectations this group has had and is poised to make another deep run in the NCAA tournament.
