Bye Week Observations | Cornell Effect x Clean Mountain Air Tailgate Special Guests John Cranham & Jon Laaser | Bailey Angle Interview!

As we all know, there was no game this week. That was much needed for all parties I think. Many of us were just able to enjoy this past week's slate of college football, some of us attended weddings, while others went on other excursions or simply enjoyed time with our families.

This week, we start off with a few bye week observations, and then welcome Dr. John Cranham and Voice of the Hokies Jon Laaser onto the show to discuss "The Cornell Effect." This Saturday, Dr. Cranham will be doing a book signing to raise money for Jon Laaser's Clean Mountain Air Initiative to support mental health. The details of the book signing's location are subject to change barring any unforeseen weather circumstances, but we hope to see everyone there!

To conclude the podcast, I sat down with Bailey Angle, Virginia Tech's new In-Venue Host and Coordinator. We talked about his new job, his time in the Virginia Tech School of Communication, where he's been and where he hopes to be. If it does end up raining this weekend, Bailey might be in for a real challenge. We hope y'all enjoy and can't wait to see everyone for Notre Dame.
