With the Virginia Tech Hokies officially being Pinstripe Bowl bound for the first time ever, we thought it was appropriate to call back on Virginia Tech's phenomenal relationship with the New York Yankees organization. In the spring of 2008, the Yankees came to Blacksburg to scrimmage the baseball team in wake of the 2007 tragedy. Clark Ruhland, a Hokie born and bred, just so happened to be lucky enough to be one of the few selected in the ticket lottery to attend. Clark joined the podcast to talk about that scrimmage, what it meant to him then, and what playing in the Pinstripe Bowl means to him now nearly 15 years later.
