Hunter Cattoor Interview | Road Game Roundtable
Three Big Things of the Week
The 3 Big Things are kicked off this week with news from Hokies Mens Soccer. VTMS was defeated by Seton Hall in penalty kicks in the Sweet 16 of the Men's NCAA Tournament this past Thursday evening in Cary, NC. The Hokies were knotted up with the Pirates, 2-2, after 90 minutes of regulation and two 10-minute overtime periods. Unfortunately, Seton Hall took the W in sudden death PKs. The road ends here for VTMS - hats off to a great season - we'll look to have a more normal year next year for some great nights at Thompson Field.
Following soccer - we spoke about the most recent departures of Hokies WR Tyree Saunders (transfer portal) and men's basketball assistant coach Chester Frazier (accepted job at Illinois).
Point #3 - we highlight Hokies ALL-Access on ACCN and the Hard Hat recipients from Spring 2021. 52 Hokies made it this year - a record - and Dax Hollifield was crowned 2021 Hard Hat Champion.
To cap it off, Grayson, Pat, and BRM chat about their feelings on the 'Future Schedules' and road games from 2021-2037 - you can view all of them here on HokieSports.

Drink.
Hunter Cattoor drains the three to tie the game at the end of regulation, then takes a key charge on Miami’s last OT possession, then seals it with 2 FTs. #coldblooded
