Name Image & Likeness 101 with Student Athlete NIL's Head of Legal and Business Affairs, Olivia Nuss
Today was a groundbreaking day in the State of Virginia as Glenn Youngkin signed House Bill 1505, giving in-state schools virtual autonomy in providing name, image and likeness compensation to athletes.
This was Sponsored by Del. Terry Austin, with bipartisan assistance from state Sen. and Virginia Tech Football legend Aaron Rouse of Virginia Beach. To break all of this down BRM welcomed the Head of Legal and Business Affairs at Student Athlete NIL Olivia Nuss. They also discussed the current landscape of NIL, new NCAA guidance that was issued, and where all of this is headed into the future.
