Good morning and afternoon y'all. Week 4 is officially in the books and the Hokies sit at 3-1. That's the good news on this fine Tuesday! We made it out alive against an FCS team. While the Hokies won, it wasn't exactly in the fashion all of us thought it might be in. That's where the bad news lies. It seems as though Saturday's game raised more questions that answers.

And we talk about it. We address it top to bottom. From an offensive perspective, all three of us are concerned. I think a lot of Hokie faithful share that sentiment, especially as we rapidly approach our in-conference schedule. Bottom line is this - this bye week could not come around at a better time. We need the extra prep time for our game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and our guys need time to rest and heal up.

Aside from that, Pat, Billy Ray and myself all were in Austin, TX this past weekend, and it was absolutely incredible. This trip came about when it was rescheduled from Memorial Day weekend, so we figured it only made sense to check out a Texas football game. Unfortunately, we didn't see Matthew McConaughey, but we did see Longhorn and college football legend Vince Young! That was pretty darn cool. We want to shout out the entire crew that joined us down south - we had a blast with y'all at Buford's, lighting up Rainey Street, hanging out at the AirBnb, and sight seeing around the city. Let's run it back real soon. Check out some pictures from the weekend below!
