Despite the loss, the Sons and Daughters had fun in Blacksburg. That's got to count for something, right?

Well this was the least fun we've had recording an episode this season. That is for damn sure. Pat said it on last week's episode - that we were going to find out everything we needed to know about this team against the Pittsburgh Panthers. And he was right. This fan base is nearly at the point of total apathy, and that's not good thing at all. It's sad y'all. All three of us care so much and we know you do too. So that bodes the question: Where do we go from here?

As of this present moment, it's safe to assume that change on some level is imminent come December. It won't happen during the season, and it shouldn't. But change of some kind is a necessary evil.

So on today's episode, Bill poses the question "Is this the floor?"

Well, we certainly hope so. I cringe at the thought of things getting any worse. We spend a lot of time talking about dislikes, not too much time talking about likes, the implications of this season and how it ends, how the rest of our games will shake out, and what lies ahead.

To everyone who was in Blacksburg this weekend, we hope you had a blast. To everyone who wasn't, that notion is still the same. In the famous words of LA Hokie Eric Avissar, "At least the beer is still cold."
