We’re so back y’all. All three of us in the saddle for the first time in what feels like an eternity. Bill and Pat held it down these past few weeks while yours truly was on a little vacation and moving into a new apartment. Regardless, all three Sons are back, and we’re Billy Ray on a surfboard levels of stoked right now.

To kick off this week’s Three Big Things, Pat opens up the conversation with a discussion on the new NIL rules, what it means for college football going forward, and we give Sam Howell an extremely unwarranted amount of attention. To be clear, Sam Howell and Spencer Rattler are definitely the two biggest names going into the 2021 college football season, but let us not forget that this is a Virginia Tech focused podcast. We really don’t give a damn what’s going on in Chapel Hill or in Norman.

This week’s second big thing is the recruiting trail. Y’all, Razor Ramon Brown is going to be a Hokie, and we are ECSTATIC over this way. Not only is Ramon brown is one of the highest rated Virginia Tech running back recruits in school history, he’s the highest rated running back recruit since the likes of David Wilson and Ryan Williams. I’m sure many Hokie faithful remember those two VERY well. We’re hoping the flood gates open on the trail, and that Ramon Brown isn’t the last of the home grown recruits that decide to stay in the Commonwealth.

To close out, Bill addresses new coaching contracts, Pat discusses the Director’s Cup, we all discuss the pig troughs of Lane Stadium (this is sure to make you laugh), what made us smile this week, Letters from the LP, and Sharkey’s Shoutouts.

Happy Monday Hokies! Let’s all have a great week.
