Sungs of Saturday Lunchtime Sync | Special Guest: Head Coach John Sung
The ACC is the gold standard for Women's Lacrosse in the NCAA. In last year's final IWLCA Poll, the Hokies (24th) were one of the six programs from the conference represented in the top 25. That 2020 class was the winningest in program history. The class touted 40 wins in their run, despite a shortened season in 2020 that was cut short due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
Just 4 years ago, Virginia Tech had wrapped up the 2016 campaign with a 5-13 record (0-7 in conference). That next season, Coach Sung took over the program and has taken VT Lacrosse to national relevancy.
Hear about how Coach made his way to Virginia Tech and turned around this program by implementing a new culture and embracing 21st century coaching techniques!

Shout out to the OG's
Sentimental Bill shout out here.
Some of my favorite people in the world have come out of the women's lax program at Virginia Tech. Seeing first hand how far the program has come from my freshman year to now has been incredible and seeing the impact that the alumni are having all over the world post grad has been a joy to see. Shout out to the OG's! I love you all.
