Taylor Bretl

Born in Northern Virginia, I traveled down the state to attend Virginia Tech. Throughout my time here in Blacksburg, I have been able to cover tons of Hokie sports. My favorite Virginia Tech sports moment of the year is when the Women’s Basketball team went into a sold out NC State and took them down 72-61, beating them for the second time on the season.

Outside of school I am still a sports fanatic. With my dad growing up in Wisconsin, I was born into the Wisconsin fandom, following the Packers, Bucks and Brewers. With baseball being my favorite sport, I run my own baseball media company, Around the Globe Baseball, creating content for my website and social media about the latest MLB buzz.

I joined Sons of Saturday in February of 2024 as a writer for Virginia Tech Softball.
