I am a sophomore statistics major from Rochester, NY. I came to Virginia Tech because I wanted to attend a school with a rich culture and school spirit. I quickly learned that this place was special. Growing up in Upstate New York, I never experienced what a real college football game day was like (sorry Syracuse) and boy was I missing out. My family came to visit for the first time to watch the UNC 6 OT game and needless to say they are huge fans now as well. I am currently an equipment manager in the athletic department with hopes of having a career in basketball analytics when I graduate.
