James Franklin on the Hokies MAJOR penalty issues

James Franklin addressed the team's penalty issues. He focused on pre-snap and post-whistle penalties. Franklin called these "focus" and "selfish" penalties. He emphasized eliminating them first.

Franklin acknowledged a pattern with pass interference. He stated that while penalties during play are sometimes unavoidable, a pattern needs correction. The team is working with ACC officials to address these issues through coaching and play finishing.
