Prokies in the NFL: Week 6

Some of the Prokies stepped up big time for their respective teams this week as we are a third of the way through the NFL season!
Duane Brown
Brown and the Seahawks lost in a heart-breaker in OT against the Steelers on Sunday Night Football.
Seattle is anxiously awaiting the return of Russell Wilson from injury, but Geno Smith has been serviceable for them.
Chuck Clark
Clark is probably having his best season yet for the Ravens, recording five tackles and a pass defend in the their rout against the Chargers.
He's been key in blitzing in the pass rush which has him ranked fourth in PFF for that, and the 13th safety overall as well.
Jonas Shaffer
@jonas_shaffer
Chuck Clark already has four passes defensed this season. That's as many as he had in 2020. He's on his way to a career year.
Christian Darrisaw
Darrisaw found his way in the starting position at LT and he's already gained national attention as a rookie. The Vikings were able to pull off a win in OT against the Panthers in Charlotte, thanks to his great pass protection.

Terrell Edmunds
Terrell and the Steelers were on the flip-side of Duane Brown Sunday night, sneaking out a win thanks to a TJ Watt forced fumble. Terrell recorded three tackles this week which puts him at 33 total on the year.
Tremaine Edmunds
Tremaine had another monster week for the Bills despite the loss due to a fourth down stand from the Titans. He recorded ten tackles and 1.5 stuffs this week, putting him at 40 tackles on the year.
Heather Prusak
@haprusak
#Bills LB Tremaine Edmunds said it wasn't that the defense was worn down but they needed to do a better job of stopping Derrick Henry who rushed for 143 yards and 3 touchdowns: "We gotta be better stopping the run make them one dimensional, make them put the ball in the air."

Brandon Facyson
Facyson was only picked up a couple weeks ago by the Raiders....and already is making an impact. After a horrific PR week with the Jon Gruden situation, the Raiders were able to pull off a win against the Broncos 34-24.
Facyson was gifted an interception but also had three tackles and two passes defended! That's how you step up immediately for your team.

Picked off! Brandon Facyson is there for the INT. #LVvsDEN is live on CBS.

Caleb Farley
Farley started his first NFL game on Monday night. Unfortunately, his season will be cut short due to an ACL tear he suffered in the game. Hokie Nation wishes him a speedy recovery!
Adam Schefter
@AdamSchefter
MRI confirmed an isolated ACL tear with minimal lateral meniscus damage for Caleb Farley, per source. His rookie season is now over.
Kendall Fuller
Kendall had his best game of the year even though Washington suffered a home loss against the Chiefs. He recorded eight tackles, a pass defended, and an interception!
Mark Bullock
@MarkBullockNFL
Washington gets another fortunate opportunity and this time Kendall Fuller is able to come away with the INT after the ball popped out of the WR's hands.

Khalil Herbert
What a come up for the rookie in the last two weeks! He went from a kick returner and third-option running back to the starter for the Bears. Damien Williams tested positive for Covid-19 and David Montgomery is out with injury. All signs pointed toward Herbert to carry the load of them both.
Boy did he deliver. He had 19 carries for 97 yards with a touchdown and two receptions for 15 yards. He helped Bears almost pull off the win against their rivals, the Packers. I think you may be seeing more of him in the coming weeks, even when Williams and Montgomery return.

Tim Settle
Big Tim was back on the board this week for the Football Team. He recorded two tackles along with two stuffs in their loss to the Chiefs.
Wyatt Teller
Teller and the Browns suffered a tough loss (and suffered lots of injuries) against the Cardinals on Sunday. However, he did hop back into the top ten graded guards per PFF ranked at ninth overall.Coach's Corner: Bruce Arians
Coach Arians pulled off a win in a battle against the Eagles on Thursday night, but the biggest win of the week was his donation to VT Athletics this week.Thank you Coach!
