Gameday PReview: Boston College

For some reason, a few lyrics from “Sunday Best” by Surfaces have been echoing inside my head for the last couple of days and represent my feelings towards Virginia Tech and their contest against the Boston College Eagles on Saturday night.

Hey, feeling good, like I should… Went and took a walk around the neighborhood

Feeling blessed, never stressed

Every day can be a better day, despite the challenge… All you gotta do is leave it better than you found it

Everyone falls down sometimes… But you just gotta know it'll all be fine

— "Sunday Best" by Surfaces

Virginia Tech is entering a crucial part of their schedule and can really start to build momentum for some bigger games next month (See: November 14 against Miami). With that said, let’s take everything one week at a time and the focus is going 1-0 against Jeff Hafley and his Boston College Eagles.

Losses happen and like the lyrics stated, “everyone falls down sometimes… but you just gotta know it’ll all be fine.”
