We are three quarters of the way through the NFL season! Some Prokies are still waiting to play their week 12 game...others earned their keep last week.
Offense
Duane Brown
Brown helped lead the Seahawks to their eighth win on the season against the struggling Eagles. He is still ranked 5th among NFL offensive tackles per PFF grades and....I'm terrbily sorry if you had Seattle at -6.5.
I hereby curse the Eagles. They won’t win again this year.
Teller also helped the Browns to their eighth win of the season! Their best season in my lifetime for sure. He is still the number one rated guard in the NFL per PFF grades.
Logan Thomas
Man, is this guy coming to life or what? The once Hokie QB has been padding his wallet every week. He recorded four receptions for 20 yards and a touchdown this week in Washington's thrashing of the Cowboys. It doesn't stop there. On top of him running the newly implemented wildcat, he also completed a lengthy pass! Is he becoming the most versatile player in the NFL?
Tremaine is back in his true form, recording 11 tackles and a pass deflection this week in the Bills win against the Chargers. He's now on a three game streak with double-digit tackles and shows no sign of stopping.
Kyle Fuller
Kyle recorded eight tackles for the Bears this past weekend against the Packers. He has 42 total tackles on the season along with an interception and a forced fumble.
Kendall Fuller
Kendall recorded two tackles this week against the Cowboys and was lockdown along with his teammate Ronald Darby. They have become a formidable cornerback duo in the NFL, with both of them ranking in the top 20 per PFF grades.
Tim Settle
Another week, another penguin dance! Settle recorded another sack, making it four out of the last five games with one. His teammates are starting to get on the dance action too.
Joey was 2-4 on FGs this week, putting him at 24-31 on the season. However, he's only missed two FGs from 20-49 yards.
Bonus Section: Coaching Special
Head Coach Bruce Arians and the Buccaneers have lost the last two games by a field goal. The heartbreaking losses to the Rams and the Chiefs haven't knocked Tompa Bay out yet, but a much needed bye week is coming up for the final stretch.
Welcome to the Terror Dome my fellow Hokies. I am a 2019 graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Agribusiness along with minors in Communication Studies and Entrepreneurship. I come from a Hokie family. My mom, dad, sister, grandfather, uncle, great uncle, two cousins….you get the point, I bleed maroon and orange. I can’t even remember the last time I missed a Virginia Tech football game in person or on TV, laptop, iPhone, or even radio (the 2003 Texas A&M game). I am located in the beautiful small town of Seaford, Virginia working for a coffee company in research and development. In my free time you will see me playing golf, fishing, or playing electric guitar. Yes, I know how to play Enter Sandman. So to my Sons and Daughters of Hokie Nation, START JUMPING!
