Prokies in the NFL: Week 13

Week 13 was one for the books in the NFL. Several upsets, a couple blowouts, and some impressive performances by the Prokies made it for a fun weekend to watch. Was the NFC (L)East just waiting to ruin every ones season?

Offense

Duane Brown

Brown and the Seahawks may have lost in a shocking upset to the Giants, but that didn't change his performance. He is still ranked fifth among tackles in the NFL per PFF grades.

Wyatt Teller

Teller is continuing his all-pro season after gaining another emphatic win against the Titans. With Pro-Bowl votes now open, I'd expect to see Teller at the top of the OL list as he is still graded #1 amongst guards in the NFL. He was placed on COVID reserve on Tuesday, but is expected to return.

Logan Thomas

The Football Team shocked the world Monday night defeating the 11-0 Steelers and the former QB was key in the victory. He recorded a career high 98 yards and the fourth quarter TD to tie the game.

Thomas has been putting together quite the season the last several weeks. In just the last five games, he's had 29 targets for 218 yards and two TD's.

Defense

Chuck Clark

Clark recorded five tackles in their win over the Cowboys on Tuesday Night Football. That's something I could get used to!

Tremaine Edmunds

Tremaine recorded seven tackles in their win over the 49ers as the Bills move to 9-3.

I love a good Booger-ism.

Terrell Edmunds

Terrell recorded five tackles and a pass deflection in their first loss of the season.

Kyle Fuller

Kyle recorded six tackles in their close loss to Detroit.

Kendall Fuller

Kendall recorded three tackles this week in their upset over Pittsburgh. As I said before, him and Ronald Darby are becoming a formidable duo along with the rest of the Washington defense.

Tim Settle

Big Tim only recorded a tackle this week, but he's 100% making a difference for Washington's front seven. He's jumped over 15 spots in the last three weeks in PFF rankings.

Ford Bamboozles the Patriots

As the headline states, Isaiah Ford somehow ended up back in Miami with a free draft pick. The Patriots reportedly missed out on resigning their mid-season trade and isback on the practice squad for Miami. I would expect him to be back before the season is over.

Welcome to the Terror Dome my fellow Hokies. I am a 2019 graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Agribusiness along with minors in Communication Studies and Entrepreneurship. I come from a Hokie family. My mom, dad, sister, grandfather, uncle, great uncle, two cousins….you get the point, I bleed maroon and orange. I can’t even remember the last time I missed a Virginia Tech football game in person or on TV, laptop, iPhone, or even radio (the 2003 Texas A&M game). I am located in the beautiful small town of Seaford, Virginia working for a coffee company in research and development. In my free time you will see me playing golf, fishing, or playing electric guitar. Yes, I know how to play Enter Sandman. So to my Sons and Daughters of Hokie Nation, START JUMPING!
