Prokies in the NFL: Week 3

By Brett Smith | September 29
LT3 Bills
Week three in the NFL was a wild one.....records broken, blowouts of divisional favorites, and some debuts for the Prokies!

Duane Brown

The Seahawks had a tough week in a two score loss to the Vikings on Sunday. Brown is staying strong though for his QB as he is ranked fourth in pass blocking per PFF grades.

Chuck Clark

My goodness, this was one of the wildest finishes to a NFL game in some time. Harbaugh really puts trust in his guys it seems as Justin Tucker nailed a SIXTY SIX yarder to win the game.

Clark also had a fantastic game on top of all the craziness. He led both sides in tackles with 12, a stuff, and a sack.

Divine Deablo

We have a Prokie debut! Deablo got his first stat in his NFL career with a tackle in the Raiders OT win against the Dolphins.

Terrell Edmunds

The Steelers were shocked this past weekend in a loss against the Bengals, losing 24-10 in a game that was never close. Despite that, Terrell still had a great showing.

He recorded five tackles and got his first interception of the year!

Tremaine Edmunds

The Bills had quite the opposite weekend as they manhandled The Football Team 43-21. 'Maine had seven tackles and a stuff, but also had the task of covering fellow Prokie Logan Thomas in several situations (as seen below).

Kyle Fuller

The Broncos had the pleasure of playing the Jets this week, a team that isn't even sure if they are playing football. Kyle had three tackles in the 26-0 rout.

Kendall Fuller

As stated above, the Football Team were defaced in Buffalo on Sunday...but Kendall was still able to record 10 tackles in the loss.

Yoshua Nijman

PROKIE DEBUT NUMBER TWO! Nijman got his first start for the Packers on Sunday Night Football.

He had a very ominous task matched up with Nick Bosa all night. After a shaky start, he ended up having a great game to lead the Packers to victory over the 49ers. His teammates had some nice thing to say about him as well.

Joey Slye

Slye started for the Texans for the third week in a row still awaiting the return of Ka'imi Fairbairn. While missing an extra points, Slye made a 53-yarder in their loss to the Panthers last Thursday.

Wyatt Teller

The Browns rolled a struggling Bears team and Teller is paving the way for a great rushing attack in Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb. He popped into the top 20 this week for highest graded guards per PFF.

Logan Thomas

LT3 had another great week in a tough loss against the Bills, recording four receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown!

Injury Report

Christian Darrisaw - Listed as questionable still, with a timetable of 2-4 weeks to return.

Caleb Farley -

Coach's Corner

Bruce Arians

The Bucs suffered their first loss of the season to the Rams on Sunday, showing that they are in fact not invincible. However, despite recent allegations they are looking to acquire Pro-Bowl CB Richard Sherman as a free agent.
UNC VT

Welcome to the Terror Dome my fellow Hokies. I am a 2019 graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Agribusiness along with minors in Communication Studies and Entrepreneurship. I come from a Hokie family. My mom, dad, sister, grandfather, uncle, great uncle, two cousins….you get the point, I bleed maroon and orange. I can’t even remember the last time I missed a Virginia Tech football game in person or on TV, laptop, iPhone, or even radio (the 2003 Texas A&M game). I am located in the beautiful small town of Seaford, Virginia working for a coffee company in research and development. In my free time you will see me playing golf, fishing, or playing electric guitar. Yes, I know how to play Enter Sandman. So to my Sons and Daughters of Hokie Nation, START JUMPING!
