Prokies in the NFL: Week 7

By Brett Smith | October 27

You thought the Prokies stepped up last week....they made even BIGGER strides this week in week eight.

Duane Brown

Brown and the struggling Seahawks suffered another ugly loss Monday night due to the Saints go-ahead field goal with less than two minutes to go....thanks to Brian Johnson! We will get back to him later.

Chuck Clark

Definitely a rough go at it for the Ravens this week as Joe Burreaux and Ja'Marr Chase torched the secondary winning 41-17. Clark recorded two tackles this week, putting him at 35 on the year.

Isaiah Ford

Only three weeks after being activated for the Dolphins, Ford scored his first NFL touchdown of his career. It was his only reception of the game, but still a big moment for the Hokie legend.

Kendall Fuller

Kendall recorded three tackles in this weeks loss against the Packers which puts him at 38 total tackles on the year.

Khalil Herbert

Juice had another HUGE week as he is at the helm for the starting running back position. He had another whopping 18 carries this week as he eclipsed the 100 yard mark.

Brian Johnson

Johnson made his Prokie debut this week.....in a BIG way. Johnson picked up by the Saints two weeks ago after Wil Lutz would be sidelined for the rest of the year.

Johnson made two FGs in the Saints win over the Seahawks on MNF. He also pulled through for them at the end, making a go-ahead field goal with 1:56 left in the game!

Joey Slye

Another Prokie kicker made some waves this week. Slye was also 2-2 this week in the 49ers loss to the Colts. One of the kicks was a bruiser at 56 yards.

Wyatt Teller

Teller has made his presence known again as he is fifth graded guard in the NF after their win against the Broncos.

Coach's Corner: Bruce Arians

Coach Arians and the Bucs thrashed the struggling Bears team, 38-3. This puts them at 6-1 on the season and still in control of the NFC South.
UNC VT

Welcome to the Terror Dome my fellow Hokies. I am a 2019 graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Agribusiness along with minors in Communication Studies and Entrepreneurship. I come from a Hokie family. My mom, dad, sister, grandfather, uncle, great uncle, two cousins….you get the point, I bleed maroon and orange. I can’t even remember the last time I missed a Virginia Tech football game in person or on TV, laptop, iPhone, or even radio (the 2003 Texas A&M game). I am located in the beautiful small town of Seaford, Virginia working for a coffee company in research and development. In my free time you will see me playing golf, fishing, or playing electric guitar. Yes, I know how to play Enter Sandman. So to my Sons and Daughters of Hokie Nation, START JUMPING!
