Prokies in the NFL: Week Four

By Brett Smith | October 07
Maine AFC

The Prokies had quite a performance in week four of the NFL season, especially on the defensive side of the ball!

Duane Brown

The Seahawks ended their two-game skid in a big road win against the 49ers this week. Brown ranks 12th in pass blocking per PFF grades, which was clear this past week with Wilson throwing for two touchdowns.

Chuck Clark

Clark had himself a solid week in the Ravens win against the Broncos. He recorded seven total tackles and a stuff. He's also drastically improving each week as he is now the THIRD ranked safety in the NFL.

Terrell Edmunds

After a big week one win at Buffalo, Terrell and the Steelers are on a current three game skid. However, he did have the most tackles yet this season for him with seven.

Tremaine Edmunds

Without a doubt, 'Maine had the best week out of any the Prokies. One of the highest graded defenders of the week at 94.1 per PFF, six tackles, and an interception was enough to get him AFC Defensive Player of the week. There were a lot of doubts for Tremaine as he hadn't looked like a top 20 pick consistently, but he sure proved everyone wrong this week.

Kyle Fuller

On the other side of Chuck Clark this week, Kyle and the Broncos were handed a tough loss at home. Kyle recorded five tackles this week as the Broncos prep for the struggling Steelers.

Kendall Fuller

Kendall only recorded three tackles and was tasked several times with guarding the beast of a human Kyle Pitts. He also had two key passes defended in the Falcons final push to win.

Yosh Nijman

Yosh gained another start this week for the Packers and looked great. Head Coach Matt LaFleur has been vocal about how impressive he has been stepping into a big role.

Tim Settle

Big Tim recorded another tackle this week in Washington's win against the Falcons.

Joey Slye

After a solid job covering for the Texans, Slye was picked up for the 49ers. Starting Kicker Robbie Gould was placed on IR.

Coach's Corner: Bruce Arians

In one of the most anticipated games of the season, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers returned to Foxborough to face the Patriots. In a rainy and grimy game, Coach Arians and the Buccaneers were able to come away with a tight win.

UNC VT

Welcome to the Terror Dome my fellow Hokies. I am a 2019 graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Agribusiness along with minors in Communication Studies and Entrepreneurship. I come from a Hokie family. My mom, dad, sister, grandfather, uncle, great uncle, two cousins….you get the point, I bleed maroon and orange. I can’t even remember the last time I missed a Virginia Tech football game in person or on TV, laptop, iPhone, or even radio (the 2003 Texas A&M game). I am located in the beautiful small town of Seaford, Virginia working for a coffee company in research and development. In my free time you will see me playing golf, fishing, or playing electric guitar. Yes, I know how to play Enter Sandman. So to my Sons and Daughters of Hokie Nation, START JUMPING!
