LAST THOUGHTS ON CLEMSON/VT FROM THE PRESS BOX!

From the press box at Memorial Stadium, the Sons of Saturday crew previewed the Virginia Tech-Clemson game. The focus was on Virginia Tech's offensive line against Clemson's edge rushers, specifically Will Helt. The question was whether Leif Ganham could hold up at left tackle.

On offense, the discussion turned to Ethan Grunk Meer needing time in the pocket and the run game's consistency. Matchups like Ashton Hampton on Quaon Brown were highlighted. For Virginia Tech's defense, the plan was to pressure Clemson's Tate Reynolds, who has struggled with deep passes. Tackling in the open field was also emphasized due to Clemson's dynamic perimeter players.
